Real Life Church
I don't really know how to rate a church so I will just give them praise and my words may rate them in the process. I think of Matthew 25:40, “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ I was the driver of a car in an accident where two people died and many were injured. I was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, arrested at the scene and know I'm forgiven by God because Real Life Church accepted me when I started attending there and I saw Him in the Love and support that was offered by every church goer I came in contact with. I attended for almost a year before I was sentenced to serve 5 years in prison for Vehicular Homicide. The only reason I made it out of prison without becoming a prisoner is because of all the Love and support God sent to me while getting to know Him, prison is the darkest place I've ever been. Real Life church heard God and listened. My family gave me a lot of support while serving time and Real Life did also. If I wasn't getting a letter or book in the mail I was getting a visit from one of at least four of the members. The Senior Pastor Steve actually did most of the writing and visiting. Again, the Love and support God sent is the only reason I'm not still there; I thank God they listened. On top of that, when I was released and made it to my first service, they had a welcome home celebration type service because The Real Jesus is there and He Loves people! The way my life changed so much for the better is I met and fell in Love with the Real God there. Their relationship with God is a true one and you can see it in their serving. Basically, Real Life Church walks the walk, no, they walk the talk if I can say that. God said it and they do it because God said it! They teach The Real Jesus and like I said, if you didn't see Him there it's because you didn't go. Praise God for Real Life Church! If only every church was like this...

Oh I forgot to say the P.O. Box is the mailing address of course and we meet for service on Sundays at 10:00am at Kentlake High School, 21401 SE 300th St. Kent, WA. 98042. The church website- www.reallifechurch.com has directions if you need them and it'll tell you more about their values too. If you weren't there this morning you missed an excellent teaching concerning life's baggage and moving toward the goal. Our pastor's one of a kind, he has fun teachings & usually has props involved; if not he'll have something up his sleeve to get the point across. I think Paul from the Bible would say, "Good job Steve, I would have said it the same way". I know Jesus will say, "Well done Steve, you did it right you were listening".

Thanks for the very touching story and for checking out ChurchRater.
Can you do us a favor?
Ask a couple of your friends who don't normally attend Real Life to come to church with you just so they can rate it for you here on ChurchRater.
You can offer to buy them lunch if that will help
Im sure your pastor will even pay for their lunch if you get them to agree to provide honest feedback
Sound good?
Jim,
That would be sneaky of me offering to buy them lunch because lunch is served there after every service except the fifth Sunday of the month. By the way, there's only four months with five Sundays this year and we already had one in January; May, August and October are left. I think they do the fifth Sunday break because the first four Sundays were warm ups and when the fifth Sunday hits, there wont be lunch so the folks in the congregation might Love on each other and invite each other to lunch or dinner at their houses. (that's just my interpretation of it) Jim, it's like you go to Real Life or something but forgot the smiley face when you gave me the 'buy lunch' idea. :) I will try to find others for ratings but I don't really have any friends other than church friends because It's tricky, I either have a court ordered 'no-contact order' with some of my old friends or a personal no contact order because it wasn't my friend's fault one bit but that lifestyle just about ruined my life. I do have my radar on waiting for new friends to come into range but they'll be way different than my old ones and I have to probably start college first before I have any new friends. I did send the Church Rater site link to a good friend that attends Real Life too so maybe?
Sounds good
Do me a favor and tell Pastor Steve what I asked you to do and see what he suggests
I did and I think I may have sent him three copies of the whole thing? I clicked "tell a friend" on each of our 3 responses.
